Gabriel Mario Vélez Salazar Professor, School of Arts Universidad de Antioquia President of Acofartes Postdoctoral fellow at the Center for Advanced Studies (CEA) of the National University of Córdoba (Argentina), where he conducted research titled *The Digital Footprint: The Subject Effect in Digital Genesis* ; Ph.D. in Fine Arts from the Complutense University of Madrid (Spain), certificate in Photography from the Yurupary Academy, and Master’s degree in Plastic Arts from Universidad de Antioquia. Javier Andrés Ocampo Director of the School of Sound Ar University of the Arts, Guayaquil COLFUTURO 2009 recipient. He holds a Ph.D. in Musical Performance with an emphasis on saxophone from Arizona State University (United States), where he studied under the guidance of saxophonist Timothy. He holds a diploma from the École Nationale de Musique de Bourges (France). He graduated with honors ( laureate ) from the Antonio María Valencia Conservatory in Cali. Juan Carlos Guerrero Hernández Assistant Professor in the Department of Art, Art History, and Design University of Nevada COLFUTURO 2013 recipient. Ph.D. in Art History f rom the State University of New York at Stony Brook (United States), where he defended his doctoral dissertation titled *Mutilated Bodies and Memories of Violence: Displacements and Contestations of Representations of Violence in Contemporary Video Art and Photography in Colombia* (, 1993–1998 ); M.A. in Philosophy f rom the National University of Colombia. Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering and degree in Electrical Engineering f rom Universidad de los Andes. Sergio Andrés Castrillón Arcila Professor in the Department of Global Music at the Sibelius Academy Helsinki University of the Arts COLFUTURO 2013 recipient. Ph.D. in Musicology from the University of Helsinki (Finland), awarded with distinction . Master’s degree in Musical Creation, New Technologies, and Traditional Arts from the National University of Tres de Febrero (Argentina) and Bachelor’s degree in Music Education with a focus on cello performance and composition from Universidad de Caldas.
