Memorial University of Newfoundland The university will award an annual grant of C$8,000 to recipients who are admitted to a thesis-based master’s program in engineering at the School of Graduate Studies and upon recommendation by the School of Engineering and Applied Sciences at Memorial University. Université de Montréal Approximately 35 % discount on tuition for master’s students and 87.5 % for doctoral students. Does not include other fees or international health insurance. Université du Québec and Institutes of the Université du Québec COLFUTURO recipients admitted to doctoral programs at the university or at institutions covered by the agreement will pay the tuition rate set for Canadian students. In addition, recipients admitted to master’s programs (research or professional) and doctoral programs will be awarded a scholarship equivalent to the waiver of additional tuition costs, which are required for up to two years for master’s programs and up to four years for doctoral programs, as determined by the chosen institution. University of Alberta - UA The university will provide beneficiaries admitted to any of the programs covered by the agreement ( thesis/research-based graduate programs ) with an amount equal to the difference between the tuition fee for domestic students and the tuition fee for international students. This support will be awarded, provided that the individual has requested more than US$16,000 per year from COLFUTURO for living expenses. The agreement does not apply to course-based master’s programs. University of Toronto A scholarship covering tuition for master’s and doctoral programs, depending on the program. Costa Rica Tropical Agricultural Research and Higher Education Center (CATIE) A 15 % discount on tuition for five COLFUTURO beneficiaries admitted to the master’s programs mentioned in the agreement, for a period of 18 months.
