APPLICATIONS FROM CANDIDATES All candidates are classified one of the 13 areas of study. Each area committee is made up of experts in the specific area of studies who carried out graduate studies abroad. They review each candidate’s profile and the initial rating that COLFUTURO has assigned to the graduate program of interest. Once reviewed, the rating may be adjusted and the list is reorganized in each area. AREA COMMITTEES (anonymous processing) Those who have filled out the online form will enter the competition. The call for applications opens in January. It is a competitive process because there are more candidates than people we can support. ADMINISTRATIVE REVIEW Proficiency in a second language is not required at this stage of the application process. Proficiency must be certified within two years of being selected or until an individual’s loan scholarship is legalized. It is available online and must be filled out completely. The form contains a section with instructions on uploading required documents on specific dates. FORM DOCUMENTS LANGUAGE Those applicants who do not meet the requirements will have the opportunity to resubmit their application in the following call for applications.
