COLFUTURO Selected candidates The list of selected candidates is published. www.colfuturo.org The list of recommended candidates is delivered to the Board of Directors of COLFUTURO, which conducts a final review. Depending on the budget, the Board adds or eliminates candidates in each area of studies. BOARD OF DIRECTORS One decimal point, in any of the four ratings, may allow the candidate to be above or below the cut-off score. The academic committee is made up of eight people who hold graduate degrees from universities abroad. Their main function is to ensure that the lists delivered by the area committees (resulting from applying the evaluation criteria) are correct, and thus, establish cut-off scores for each area. ACADEMIC COMMITTEE REORGANIZED LIST Whoever is located below the cut-off will have the opportunity to resubmit an application in the following call for applications. RESULTS of June THE FORMULA Each criterion has a specific weight and is scored on a scale of 1 to 5. Once evaluated, the scores are weighted and summed to arrive at a final grade of 100%. The candidates provide the first three weightings, while the chosen program accounts for the remainder. 5 3 1 4 TOP. Among the best 10 in the graduate area. Class ranking of student: The ranking of the student will be converted into a rating. Awards and distinctions: We recognize the distinctions of summa cum laude, magna cum laude or cum laude, honor enrollment or enrollment scholarship, honors theses or honors degree, distinguished student or merit student and honor roll. Ranking in Saber Pro: Depending on the results of the Saber Pro tests. Admission to the university: If the candidate has already been accepted in the university, he/she will obtain the same rating criterion: Program selected*. The system immediately calculates two scenarios: 1. Considering the adjustment factor that best fits the candidate 2. Without the adjustment factor Upon carrying out such a calculation, the highest grade will be taken into account. If the adjustment factor is not used, 20% will be distributed between the other criteria. *Having been accepted to a university is not a requirement to apply to the call for applications.
