Humberto Antonio Garcés Rendon Full professor at the Francisco José de Caldas District University He holds a degree in chemistry from UDN-Moscow University, a master’s degree in physical chemistry from the same institution, and a master’s degree in engineering from the Cologne University of Applied Sciences (Germany). He is a specialist in software technologies at the Bildungszentrum für Informationsverarbeitende Berufe (bib) in Bergisch Gladbach (Germany). He has served as an expert on international research projects on pesticides in Panama and Finland. Jefferson Flórez Technical Program Manager at Quantinuum A physicist from the National University of Colombia, with a master’s degree in physics from the University of the Andes and a Ph.D. in physics from the University of Ottawa (Canada). Her career in research and development (R&D) includes roles as a research associate in quantum imaging at Imperial College London, a research fellow at the Max- -Planck Institute for the Science of Light (Germany), and a research assistant at the University of Ottawa and Universidad de los Andes. Jimena Zuluaga Professor and independent researcher 2011 COLFUTURO recipient. She holds a degree in Anthropology from Universidad de los Andes, a master’s degree in Communication from Universidad Javeriana, and a master’s degree in Media Studies from The New School in New York. Her work combines social research with the study of media and communication processes from a global perspective. José Camilo Dávila Associate Professor in the School of Business Administration at Universidad de los Andes Industrial engineer from Universidad de los Andes, with a specialization in Health Systems Management from the Getulio Vargas Foundation, and a master’s degree in Management and a Ph.D. in Organizational Behavior from the Freeman School of Business at Tulane University. Juliana Gutiérrez Solano Project Leader at the Imagina Center at Universidad de los Andes Historian from Universidad Nacional de Colombia, with a master’s degree in International Educational Development from Columbia University’s Teachers College (United States). Lisbeth Fog Corradine Freelance Journalist Communication and journalism graduate f rom Universidad Jorge Tadeo Lozano, with a master’s degree in science, health, and environmental reporting f rom Boston University (United States) as a Fulbright scholar. She currently teaches in the master’s program in Science Journalism at Pontif icia Universidad Javeriana, is a columnist for El Espectador’s online edition, and occasionally contributes to print and digital media. She also serves as a researcher on issues related to the social appropriation of knowledge and is a lecturer and workshop facilitator on public science communication and science journalism.
